very enjoyable. great story. Barbara Rosenblat is the best narrator ever.

Such an amusing mystery! This and PMS Outlaws are my favorites!
Wonderful book. Need more of them to be written!
I liked the book, it was not a good example of McCrumb's more recent work. No comparison in richness and quality of how the author has grown. The best part of the book was that it gave a good travel along England.
Well written account of attempted murder. The ending did not surprise me but did not diminished my enjoyment of the book.
For some reason, I have never read any book by Sharyn McCrumb, and what a mistake. This was my first, and I will read her others definitely. The story was well plotted, the characters multi-layered, and the mystery not what one might expect. I've taken bus tours, and the one in the book brought back all the joys and annoyances of group travel. This book is well worth reading.
